there will be a lot of #oldPosts from this trip as this was one trip I came back home with something like 70GB of photographs.
Part of it was because #Iceland is stunningly beautiful. Other part is because this was as an art residency (rather than a conference) so I had the time to photograph throughout 2 weeks I was there.

the day after the Ubuntu Summit I ran into this tree while walking around #Prague.
There is something hauntingly beautiful and eerie about fragile white flowers blooming alongside bright orange falling leaves.
A gentle ominous warning.

1) sunset from 2000-2002 period
2) raindrops on window from 2003
3) early fall trees in Abant, Turkey, not sure how old this one is, except definitely pre-2002.
First two were posted in 2017, with some editing from #Darktable to mastodon. Last one, I am not sure I ever posted it.

Yes #editBacklog is back after a 3 year break.
2021 Orion nebula. Istanbul, Turkey.
This is more of a technical limitations exercise. It is shot with a sony a6000 and my trusty 135mm Samyang.
Supersampling is used with 21 frames, to reduce noise and increase the resolution. (this is a cropped detail)
The limiting factor here is light pollution more than anything.
