Until this latest update the only other option was to Delete & Re-Post. Thanks again to @scrivener for pointing the availability of this function out to me! #tootapp #editfunction #mastodon4

@thatnerddave @thatnerdkris -- Because of my many typos, I like the #EditFunction in Mastodon a lot. It was introduced recently and quickly. There also are issues which I miss or things which I don't like, but the speed of the recent improvements made me confident that Mastodon will be a serious competitor to Elon Musk's new $44 Billion toy.
Recently I found that also the German government implemented an own Mastodon instance (https://social.bund.de/explore), so it's serious business.

Ahhh! The #EditFunction is here. I fixed a typo in my introduction—added the missing word “get.” Note how it shows “Edited” in the extended time stamp. Very handy!
