I used to think "soon, to compete, songs will cost a quarter. And old arcade/Atari games will cost a dollar. And I'll gladly spend thousands building a modern digital library of Alexandria of Jeff."

Now, mostly everyone wants you to pay a lifetime monthly payment for a few things they own, and some you'll never be able to buy. This is a cyberpunk dystopia.

@toad penso di averlo usato dal 2002, era praticamente l'unico player per #mac gratuito che faceva girare tutto (leggi i primissimi #divx scaricati da #emule - #edonkey2000 😍 ), c'era anche #mplayer al tempo ma #VLC ha sempre avuto una marcia in più ❤️
