So something awful happened. I've lost all feeling and strength in my right arm, shoulder to fingertip. I can't feel anything on the top of my arm, and barely on the bottom. When I try to use my hand, it just clenches into a fist or opens and won't grab.
It isn't a stroke or heart attack, that I know. Due to my EDS, one of the middle vertebrae is sunk in to the point of seeming like its missing. I have no idea how that happened. I'm super scared right now because I'm right handed. If I can't get this fixed, no more art or gaming. Or even crocheting. Or employment I'm trained in. I know the chances of this being permanent are 0 to none almost, but as an artist this is my biggest fear.
It feels like when your foot falls asleep, numb with pins and needles. And lack of limb and digit control.
I am so tired of things constantly happening with my health. I knew it was only a matter of time before my EDS started really messing up my daily life. I was just hoping to have a while longer until then.
I'll be okay. Just really down and scared about how much this will impact the things I love. I'm calling a doc tuesday to get it checked out.
Sorry for the freak-out. I just needed to vent today.

Spent New Years Day deep cleaning my room (pretty much my apartment), washing and drying clothes, folding said clothes, vacuuming, and organizing my art supplies I will be using here soon. Just one more load of clothes to fold after it dries and then I'm done.
Tonight will be more Kynseed, and finishing the last page of "Light From Uncommon Stars" by Ryka Aoki (absolutely wonderful book. 5 stars all around).
I feel so accomplished. Executive disfunction disorder, and the severe daily pain from my EDS really limits these kind of moments. I shall bask in this glorious event where I got off my ass and outed the junk and dust.

Wrist is doing quite a bit better today. Sadly not well enough to do any kind of gaming, but not horrid. It's one of the rough parts of having carpral tunnel and EDS, I'm never sure which is to blame! But I'm resting the hand so seems to be helping, but it's also day 2 and still hurting so I'm going with a sprain caused by EDS. My games can wait. But I still have some shows to catch up on, and a book to read.
