@rosmo FYI I know the author of #EduBlocks - lives just a few miles away from me -:) But the problem I have with that (and it's Python issue not EduBlocks issue) is that you end up with one long script but with #Scratch or @microblocks or @SnapCloud , you can have multiple scripts which I think is much easier to debug #MicroBlocks #SnapCloud

Had a very productive couple of evenings building a new Pi4 Bullseye SD card image for my #coding club RPis. The main blocker was that #Minecraft Pi no longer works, but after some online searching I discovered MCPi-reborn, which is an improved version that runs on Bullseye. https://github.com/MCPI-Revival
Got it all working with the latest version of #EduBlocks, so now my most popular kids coding activity is bigger and better than ever.

We looked at a whole host of different languages including #Scratch #Edublocks #GPBlocks #mitappinventor #swiftplaygrounds #Alice #BYOB #KoduGamelab Different schools teach different software so I try to teach the concept, the challenges, the features etc. rather than a specific language. I still believe that block-based languages make coding accessible for children and encourage them to experiment and learn independently. We can focus on "good programming" later on
