Rough calculations… if we closed the loopholes so that those 60 Australians who earnt $1 million but paid no tax actually paid a fair and reasonable amount of tax, then we could increase by $10,000 the annual pay of approximately 1800 teachers. And those individuals are small fry. Imagine if companies paid fair and reasonable tax!
