Fram till reformerna på 1990-talet var det cirka 90 procent av gruppen med mild intellektuell funktionsnedsättning och 40 procent bland övriga som hade någon form av stödåtgärder i grundskolan. 2020 är det cirka 15 procent färre i respektive grupp.
