But I also wanted a big washy ambient reverb that was steady and easy to set. Basic? Cliche? Perhaps so but this is much easier on my wallet than a big $$$ version. It’s fun, too. Three knobs and a switch. The 3 Series makes it afforadable to experiment with effects I haven’t tried yet. #guitar #effectpedals 2/2

Okay Gear Squad, NPD for the JHS 3 Series Octave Reverb. Who doesn’t need more reverb? While looking over the Source Audio Vertigo from our recent Tremolo thread I got distracted by this pedal. It does a huge washy ambient reverb like the big $$$ brands but also has an octave up/down switch and that sold me. Octave down and fully dimed sounds like a baritone guitar. Octave up and with a separate delay added it’s The Unforgettable Fire. #guitar #effectpedals 1/2

It’s great for clean and overdriven rhythm tracks, giving that classic sweep to chord work. With the feedback switch engaged I can get Leslie tones. #guitar #effectpedals

an album of sound exploration with limited sound sources: a Moog Mother-32 semi-modular analog synthesizer processed with an Electro-harmonix Superego Synth Engine pedal and a Zoom MS-70CDR pedal. It was recorded straight into Ableton Live in one take with no processing.
