I 'hamcasted' my 40m antenna back up in the tree after it broke. I have signals again I am super happy. It's not as close in to the tree as I woukd like but this took me well over an hour to get paracord pulled up over that branch, so I will take what I can get.

Tried out a new homebrew end-fed half-wave vertical yesterday. Big improvement over the horizontal dipole I was using previously. Got into Eastern Europe and mainland China for the first time. I think it's working quite well.
