SC City Council to review Rail Trail Segments 8 & 9 permits

In a Special Meeting, the Santa Cruz City Council will review the recent certification of the Final EIR for the Coastal Rail Trail Segments 8 & 9 project, and approve the Design Permit and other permits for the project.

The meeting will be in-person at City Hall, March 20 at 10 am. There will be no provision for online comments on the agenda items. There is no agenda posted online at this time.

Menai Bridge closed in October due to issues with deck hangers. The Welsh Government was cagey about what, exactly, was wrong or when they knew.

After a protracted fight that began on the day the bridge closed to obtain information under #eir, Welsh Government has just caved-in to my contention that their stance of the engineering reports being exempt from disclosure would not survive legal scrutiny.
