The #EJC is not happening this year in Ireland.
This has been because of a combination of things, but ultimately due to the insurance crisis in Ireland.

We faced a number of challenges with sites and although alternate options were found, we cannot secure insurance for the scale needed within Ireland.

We have evaluated our options in Northern Ireland and decided this is not a viable option.

Sad news from the Irish #EJC team.
We have to announce that the EJC will not be happening in Ireland this year.
While we've found alternate venues and even to the final contract stage, we cannot go ahead. The insurance company previously used has fallen through, and alternate companies from Ireland, Northern Ireland and mainland Europe won't insure the event.
We are working with the EJA and previous organisers with hope of moving the convention to another European country for the same dates.

We're looking for help from people with trade skills! If you have experience in plumbing, carpentry, electrician, rigging, light and sound engineering, or other trades, we would love to hear from you! You can help out before or during #EJC2023 whatever suits you best.

Hello Jugglers and Circus Family!
We have an update for #EJC2023. After many difficulties securing a site for the Convention, we are delighted to say we are now in final negotiations with a venue. We are working on this process at full speed, and hope to have a final decision and contract by the end of March.
The final decision on the site will be made very soon. The team are fully dedicated and strong and are fully confident of hosting the #EJC this summer. Our dates remain 29 July - 6 Aug 2023

Todays video by the IJA "Juggling News January 2023" mentions that we have lost our previous venue but also uses a "Cancelled" graphic.
The #EJC2023 Team would like to clarify that as things stand this years #EJC is not cancelled, we are in the final stages working with our new venue and getting all the paper work sorted before we make any more official announcements, but we will have more information to share very soon.

La Convention Européenne de Jongle (et des autres arts du cirque) aura lieu à Gormanston, au nord du comté de Dublin, en Irlande.
Du 29 juillet au 6 août 2023, nous aurons spectacles, workshops et entraînements - c'est aussi un lieu pour réunir la famille du cirque et les amis du monde entier.
L'annonce du prix des tickets et des dates de vente est prévue avant Noël. Comme d'habitude, le camping est inclus dans le prix du ticket.

Our team are putting on the European Juggling (& other circus skills) Convention in Gormanston just to the north of county Dublin, Ireland.

From July 29 to August 6 2023, we will have shows, workshops, training and be a place to unite with circus family and friends from around the world.

Ticket price & sale dates to be announced: planned before Christmas. As usual, camping is included in the ticket price.
