I guess Trump's lawyers weren't able to convince him of just how bad of an idea it would be for him to testify in open court. His deposition in the case was nothing short of a train-wreck because he's incapable of telling the truth, and presenting himself as a reasonable and decent man. If he takes the stand, Carroll's lawyers will destroy him, and cast a blinding light on his fundamental dishonesty, lack of integrity.
