Read something that said the real reason eating grain is discouraged on ekadashi is to do with its ayurvedic (un)health qualities, but I can't find anything about what ayurveda says the health qualities of grain are 🤔

It's definitely true that a low-grain diet cuts out many of the carby staples we habitually turn to, though, which probably does have some benefits as long as you don't do it so much you cut out all the vitamins and fibre that also exist in grains. #ekadashi
