In the words of the esteemed Professor #ElainePagels, it appears that the earliest depictions of Jesus were more on the visionary side of things. As time progressed and the #gospel narratives took shape, however, Jesus' character morphed into a more corporeal figure, complete with eyewitness accounts of his physical resurrection. It's a classic case of "he said, she said" - or rather, "he saw, she saw."
