A couple of thoughts on this from the New York Times Editorial Board:

1) Pence says Congress is not entitled to his testimony regarding the coup attempt and DeSantis trafficked legal asylum seekers across state lines to score political points. Pretty sure neither “have demonstrated a commitment to the rule of law.”

2) The Republican Party doesn’t have a soul to save.

The NY Times has five stories this morning devoted to a man who attempted a coup and stole top secret documents, solely because he’s decided to run for office.
