OMG. Just got around to watching the Donald Trump campaign rally in Waco, Texas from the other day, and what's with these signs? The audience cheer as they hold up signs that say "Witch Hunt"? Makes it look like they're rallying *for* a witch hunt instead of against one...

...what is to be done when political affiliations shift? After all, if we partitioned in 1996 D+54 McDowell County would have been in Blue America and R+2 Fairfax County would have been in Red America. As of 2020, just 24 years later, they're R+58 and D+42, respectively. Hmm...

I've seen it suggested that a red-blue partition of the US is infeasible, but really, you could draw rather clean borders, internationalize ports and transportation corridors, and it would all work just fine from a pure geographic-mechanics perspective. 🤔 But...
