Engelse indierockband opgericht in '98 te Brighton. De band heeft een uitgesproken sound die vooral terug valt op hun grote voorbeelden binnen de #krautrock scene zoals Neu!, de sound van Velvet Underground en Sonic Youth.
Privé hadden ze een uitgesproken feministische en politieke mening, maar lieten dat op het topnummer "Partizan" na nooit op de voorgrond komen via hun teksten. Hun shows waren a la Pixies, gefocust met weinig interactie maar strak gespeeld

Mais leur chef d'œuvre reste 'Axes', enregistré d'une traite avec Steve Albini, avec des accents krautrock, jazz, power pop... Tout est parfait.
