Just added another #pedal to my small collection – heard a fellow #ukulele player running a lovely chorus effect the other night and decided I just had to have one, and the L.R. Baggs pedals seem highly regarded for acoustic instruments. Got exactly the sound I was hoping for on the first trial.
My wife pointed out that my hobbies have hobbies, since I now need to build a dedicated pedalboard for my #uke. Already have one for my #electricbass.

Photos № 4 & 5: Those are my two “workhorses”, they are by far the busiest of my collection.
On the left, that’s my classical guitar of the “Ariana” series. Lately I put low-tension steel strings on it which deliver an interesting sound somewhere between Western and Spanish guitar.
On the right, that’s my electric five-string “Squier” Precision bass. Before I got myself an acoustic five-string fretless bass guitar, this was my only source for the lower notes.

Was playing 4-string #electricbass and on a whim decided to detune E down to E-flat and keep the rest of the strings at regular pitch. A fun exercise in mental flexibility! Made the line playable in two octaves with the low E-flat) without resorting to more drastic measures like a complete retune down a half step. Couldn’t stop laughing as it worked!
