Sekisui House-W, a large Japanese real estate services provider, builds a house with #electrolyzer and #hydrogen storage in a pilot project.

H2 storage yields a larger energy density than batteries, with a compact frame adapted to Japanese houses' small areas. Sekisui House-W expects to commercialize the system by 2025.

The capacity of the electrolyzer (~500 MW) is way bigger than anything built so far. Will it be one central electrolyzer on a platform, or will developers choose hydrogen producing wind turbines, with infield pipes instead of cables?
