lol the #EZProxy SSO test run crashes and burned almost immediately. It read every patron as part of a single Shib user — so we hit the download limit in mere minutes and everyone got blocked. Revert revert revert.

Popping up to once again note library database duckers in my inbox.

Email from East View, which supplies databases from outside Western Europe/North America tells us: “In short, many content types that were previously viewed as mundane have now been flagged by the [Cybersecurity Administration of China (CAC)] to be subject to governmental review.”

So far, they’ve heard this about CNKI, effective April 1.
