It's #FreeCADfriday again! This week:
Air exhaust w/ activated carbon filter for a #3DPrinting cabinet . The blue part (screenshot) will be printed in TPU to absorb any vibrations from the #Noctua fan. I'm gonna add a fine (fly–) mesh to the basket to keep the activated carbon granulate in place. The height of the basket (it's capacity) is variable by choosing any height for the acrylic. The basket is held at the cabinet's top plate with magnets.

Switching to a .6mm nozzle today on my #Elegoo Neptune 3 Plus. Love the easy extruder disassembly🥰 But I was kinda confused as I removed the old nozzle. It looks like it sits not flush against the PTFE tube but there was no leaking on this hotend, how is this possible 🤔 It looks like Elegoo sealed the heatbreak with some glue to prevent leakage and making nozzle swaps easier 🤓 #smart
Now it's time to relevel everything and check if the hotend is still sealed 😎

Well it took quite long but it's a really nice and clean print, even with some broken supports. Will assemble it tomorrow or so and if it sounds good I will print a second one 🤓🔊
Thinking 🤔 about putting a .6mm nozzle in this printer because I will only use this one for larger prints.

Testing the new once. Bought an Elegoo N3 Plus because of some upcoming bigger projects 🤓. I had to place this big boy in my basement because it doesn't fit in my office 🙈. My first layer test incl. the filament run out sensor test went awesome, so I'm really looking forward to first real print today 🤞🤞.

Wochenendprojekt nun fertig. Keine herumfliegende Hardware mehr. Stromversorgung des #RaspberryPi ist nun über das Netzteil vom 3D Drucker, welcher dankenswerterweise eine 24 Volt Buchse hat.
