#scientist & #researchers do not understand sales but selling this is an #elevatorPitch & nuance doesn’t matter if you can’t get their attention

It’s called a #metaphor or #analogy & tbh get them confused always so🤷🏻‍♀️

The chicken's egg was laid by a hen which is slightly different from the adult chicken. Grandmother hen was also slightly different from mother hen. If you go up a few dozen million generations, those slight changes add up and you end up with a chicken that's actually a dinosaur. A dinosaur with teeth, but covered with feathers.

I then spent the rest of the afternoon chatting with Max, Jennifer, Ben, Isabel, Marci, as well as the folks at the B&H Booth (have you ever visited their NYC store?! Uhmaaazing, btw) practicing my PC20 #elevatorpitch contextually to each. Along the way, caught @js on his way out the door for the day. There is no substitute for #meatspace I needed this mental gymnastic exercise. Keep it positive. Keep it concise. Keep it relevant. There are so many powerful angles to what WE All are doing here.👊
