Joskus 80-luvulla Sarjainfossa oli iso juttu Wendy ja Richard Pinin Elfquestista. Sarjakuva vaikutti mielenkiintoiselta ja päädyin Tampereelta hankkimaan tämän ensimmäisen kokoelman. Sittemmin raahasin loput pääsarjan kokoelmat Lontoosta. Sen jälkeen on ilmestynyt vaikka minkälaista sivutarinaa. Suomeksikin näitä on julkaistu muutama värialbumi ja mustavalkoisena koko pääsarja. 20) The came the next Chaosium games. "Elfquest" was based on the comics by Richard and Wendy Piri. Using the Basic RPG System, and adapting it to allow you to play a Wolf Rider, any other elf, or any other species. Great game.

Ah! Three years ago I was beating #Shadowbringer for the second time, with my Elezen Dragoon Sade Longbrook. She's the millionth incarnation of an old #ElfQuest OC, and part of the Gang of WoL worldstate that is mostly on hold these days. She's still on one of the data centers (I don't remember off the top of my head), but a couple patches behind. Once 6.5 drops and we know more about 7.0 I'll probably pull her out of stasis and get her going again.

I stole #Elfquest Book 2 from the library of the church my mom worked in when I was 10. It still looks much like it did then, missing the spine & back. I was immediately roped in and took a big-boy step at 10, asking people at Waldenbooks or B. Dalton to please order me the other 3 books over the next couple of years. 😃

I'm not much of a fantasy fan at all, but these books have meant so much to me over the years. And it means more than it looks like to have them stacked together like that. 😄

"Les années cachées" regroupe des histoire s qui viennent s'insérer dans l'intrigue principale, complétant ainsi certains "manques" et permettant à des personnages secondaires d'être un peu plus au premier plan.
Si vous vous lancez dans #ElfQuest, commencez par "La quête originelle". C'est publié en France par Snorgleux Comics.

Le #vendredilecture, c'était hier mais, plongée dans mes lectures et le point de croix, j'ai zappé. Je me rattrape aujourd'hui : petite pause dans "Conte de fées" de King. Ça me plaît mais j'avais besoin de lire des récits qui se terminent vite, et pas au bout de plusieurs centaines de pages. C'est ainsi que j'ai décidé de me plonger dans la suite de #ElfQuest de Wendy et Richard Pini.
Si vous aimez la #fantasy, les quêtes, les relations, etc., c'est un must have, clairement.
