Starting to get bit frustraited. Had an old #elgato #camlink #CaptureCard and all it wants to do now is give me a black screen. Its always been fineky, but recently just completly refused to work. And I feel I tried everything I can.

Concidering now if I should get a new one. #linux compatibilety is a must for me and for now ossc suport with 2x modes be nice.

I like to think a pcie card be better for relibility, but that seems hard with linux.

Was für ein wunderbares, nützliches Gerät. Ich habe lange Zeit auf dieses Testgerät gewartet und nun komme ich aus dem Grinsen überhaupt nicht mehr raus.

Das Stream Deck von Elgato gibt es in vielen Varianten, aber keine von denen hatte vorher bei mir gezündet. Das Stream Deck + dagegen hat mich restlos überzeugt. Der Unterschied liegt in dem Touch-Display und den vier Reglern.

#PC hardware problem / #questions.

I have a powered USB3 hub with:

- A wireless mouse
- wireless keyboard
- RGB mat
- An LED engram light from Bungie
- aaand… I don’t think anything else plugged in

Plugged in my #Elgato Wave 3 microphone and #Windows11 complained there aren’t enough gigablurtz to power it; that it had to be plugged directly into the PC.

I thought powered hubs and USB3 were supposed to remove this problem from the hardware equation.
