So i went to see the it guys, saying it’s probably a hardware problem, not a linux one as my Fedora 38 was just working perfect the day before.
IT laugh at me: "told you!! On your own with your linux… thing"
So, i made some digging… And HP Elitebooks seem to frequently have the problem (F*#k !). You "just" need to unplug and replug the battery…
Told you! Linux is not the pb !

Holy shit, not one day after treating myself to a new #laptop, I manage to eject it from the bag onto concrete. Still runs great but the top cover looks bad now :(

Gehäuse viel dünner , aber trotzdem noch 2 CPU-Generationen weiter mit richtiger Dockingstation. Nur das Display mit seinen 250nits ist richtig mies. Ganz schön, was aus den Elitebooks seit der G5 Generation geworden ist. Das Touchpad ist ein Traum! Ob das Gerät auch so lange halten wird wie das von Dell? (Dell Latitude Fanboy hier - bisher!)

Die arbeiten flott und konstant.👌 Trotzdem arbeite ich meist auf meinem BYOD MacBook Air M2 (8GB/512GB), weil es halt noch flotter, smarter und integrierter geht. Einziger Nachteil: kein integrierter TPM Chip, deshalb brauchts einen YubiKey. Aber alles problemlos und entspannt. #AppleFanBoy
