This was my experience when I met with the CFIA to advocate for gene edited crops to be regulated in the same way as any other genetically-engineered crops. It was always very clear that they had already made up their mind to go with what industry was telling them to do.

Dit is het meest Nederlandse wat ik tot nu toe heb gelezen in 2023. Dat was zeker zowel de doelstelling van de beleidsmakers als de bekende uitkomst. Onze lieve leiders zetten belastingvallen op voor de armen (read: immigrants & minorities) en leggen gouden eieren voor degenen die de middelen hebben om ze te innen (read: autochtonen).
