#phanpy ist ja ganz hübsch, um #Mastodon zu nutzen. Ich glaube aber #elkzone gefällt mir am #PC dann doch noch besser.

Der große Unterschied in der Nutzung von #elkzone und der offiziellen #mastdonapp bzw. #tusky ist die Schlatfläche "weitere Beiträge laden" auf #android. Warum gibt es diese Schaltfläche? Damit weniger Daten schneller gesynct werden und so das Netzwerk nicht belastet wird? Wie ist eurer Nutzerverhalten, stört euch das oder wie ist es für euch nütze?

Wow, just came across #ElkZone through various posts. Probably actually a desktop interface, but also works great on mobile and is already very similar to #Twitter. After downloading and logging in, best to restart the app again.

I like it a lot right now. Only pinned posts are unfortunately not displayed.

5 minutes into using elk.zone to browse mastadon, and I REALLY appreciate the Heart icon for 'favorites' rather than the star. Much more clear what's going on!

@183231bcb first #ElkZone is an multi #instance client. Character limiet is an #instance setting.

It appears https://elk.zone #ElkZone does what I asked for. I think if I use Elk I would be okay sticking with Mastodon as long as I move to a server with a higher character limit.

As of today #elkzone support has been merged into #Ferdium ! This means you should be able to install @elk withing the app soon if not now!
