When the #EllenPao debacle hit #reddit I turned a blind eye to a lot of repugnant vitriol because I figured "the enemy of my enemy is my friend."

I regretted not speaking up back then so I'm speaking up here. You don't have to like the job he's doing but he deserves basic dignity and respect.
