No idea if any of these are going to be any good, but for the #ShittyCameraChallenge this year (theme: 1990s shitty cameras), I've been revisiting local abandonments I snuck into to photograph in the '90s, with a newly thrifted '90s film camera. It's been a very strange and quiet nostalgia.

#EllicottCity main street evening wanders this darkest week. I'm working on a film photo project but I get impatient to share digital light meter test shots from the phone now and then before finishing a roll.

Last night, took a dozen pictures failing to photograph the steam rising from shared hot sake by the Tiber River in the December fog, like I had forgotten how to just let a beautiful moment be.

Fully serious: Umi Sushi's outdoor space, nestled between forest, occasionally flooding river, and historic #EllicottCity shops, with umbrellas and heaters and festive lights, has been part of my learning how to thrive and connect with visiting friends in pandemic time. Do recommend
