I forgot to mention the best part: the amendment applies across the board. A proposed exception that would've allowed discrimination against LGBTQ Michiganders on religious grounds was rejected. Everyone has to follow the law, even weird bigoted fundamentalists. (They probably won't. But a guy can dream.)
