So I'm a little confused. #ElMu has threatened to take #TheBirdApp into bankruptcy. That's all well and good for Twitter, but The Bird didn't borrow $44 Billion, ElMu did. How does taking Twitter into bankruptcy relieve ElMu of his financial responsibilities?

@mtsw While I find the analogy interesting, I disagree with your conclusion. Walking out the door in this case *is* the revolution. Basically, #ElMu paid $44B for Parler and gets to face the consequences. We are holding him accountable.
As a bonus, it's way better here. I get almost as much interaction here with 20 followers as I did on #TheBirdApp with ten thousand.

Am I the only one who thought that the "alien dreadnought" like factory that appeared to #Elmu in his dreams was clearly his subconscious mashing together his interest in SciFi, Fantasy etc., and his utter disdain for other people, especially a workforce he has to pay regulary.

I really don’t get why some people on #Mastodon are so furious that people here are still on #Twitter.
There arguments show a lack of nuance, and really poor understanding of the human condition.
Remaining on Twitter isn’t tacit support of #ElMu and his, and his stans, awful views.
It’s part people who’ve developed good relationships with good people who still haven’t all moved; and part comfort of what they know.
Give them a break.
