I did a small part in putting a new #Emacs package on #MELPA, "ipp" for the #InternetPrintingProtocal .

trying to follow my own preaching and use my beginner's mind to build up a new #emacs config using only built-in and #gnu #elpa packages.

its fun! i miss things once i'm locked into a configuration. I don't actively think about my "prepared environment". sure, not thinking is a major plus of a comfy editor but, the opportunity to explore, re-orient, and re-order my editor always expands my world.

in the process, i discover people through their contributions to the ecosystem and feel grateful

Apparently that elpa archive has been getting slow uptake because there was some uncertainty about the procedures; but the system has been greenlit now.

After installing a #Debain packaged #elpa #Emacs package while running Emacs, run (package-initialize) to make the new package loadable (add its directory to the load-path).
