I took dozens of shots of the head and body, thinking the flat wing would be uninteresting. Just before I packed up, I made one attempt at this. Now, I wish I'd taken the time to get it right because it was the best pic of the day! Where do you draw the line between "this picture is just blurry" and "artistic softness?" Beginners are often quite proud of blurry pictures and you don't want to discourage them but... eesh.
Objectively, this photo seems very much like those beginning, blurry photos but there's something I like about it and I feel the softness adds to the #mood.
