Beim Blick ins Regal wundere ich mich, warum ich immer noch diesen Hardware-Dongle von Emagic Logic einstaubenderweise herumliegen habe. Nach 20 Jahren sollte ich es doch mal überwunden haben, dass sie sich an Apple verkauft haben und meine damals liebste DAW unter Windows eingestampft haben. Das kann zum Recycling.

If any of you are looking for a pro-level #MIDIInterface for a studio with a crapload of gear, I can recommend the #MioXL from #iConnectivity

The install was painless, the MacOS app is friendly but still powerful and my timing tests with it inline sounded the same as plain old MIDI DIN.

Obviously, it's not gonna be as tight as the old pre-Apple #Emagic #AMT interfaces but seeing the afterthought that #MIDI has become in this ITB world, the MioXL is *brilliant!*

The #G4 was the last #Mac with decent #MIDITiming. One of them with a #Unitor or #AMT8 = not bad. Not as good as an #AtariST but not bad.

It's been a slalom downhill since then, particularly with #LogicPro

Nowadays, #MacOs is too busy with I dunno what to even bother with #MIDITimestamping

I miss #Emagic. It's a damn shame what Apple have done to #Logic.
