from @drvolts #Volts podcast: Building #EmbeddedBatteries into #appliances (stoves, water heaters, heat pumps, etc) reduces expense of rewiring homes w/ higher amperage outlets to replace natural gas fueled appliances. Setting up storage options from appliance factories is a real efficiency booster.
