Ursa Major was looking a little... bare. He reached out to #embellish it a little and before long he had gone too far. Who knew constellations could be gaudy?!
Sighing he began pulling out individual stars and gathering them into...what?
A little rearrangement and perhaps? A new constellation? A minor version?

Depressed with a flair.

Note to self...

When tooting it may seem fair
to write with a little more flair

Like putting a rose in your hair
just to get folks to stare.

But no need to embellish your prose
like the guy with the big red rose.

Just say what you mean to say
if it connects, then they’ll say hey,

That really hit the spot
I really like that a lot.

So no need to confuse
with big words that bemuse

you can shorten it a lot
and use simple mused jot.

The bird, so blue,

perhaps paint it red
for now it’s devilish

The skepticism slowly turned into scorn. "Okay. Prove it."

I'll never forget the look on her face as my feet left the floor, my body drifting slightly as a breeze wafted through a nearby open window.

She crossed her arms indignantly. "Fine. But that's only two inches, not three."
