Founded in 1790, Glasgow Humane Society aims to preserve human life in and around the waterways of Greater Glasgow.

Amongst other things, these are the people who retrieve and replace life belts along the Clyde when idiots needlessly throw these important pieces of life-saving equipment into the water.

Day 21 First Day Stamp Competition.
Australia has unique flora and fauna. It is predicted many of its species will have disappeared by 2050. In 1970 we had no thought for this when this stamp celebrated Sturts Desert Rose. If you travel the Sturt Highway you will not struggle to find it, however if you spend your life on the East or the West coast here it is recognised by Australia Post.

the spire: the centre of the city of drakavel, where scholars gather.
the guard: modeled after the first leader of drakavel city guard.
the merchants: the working class of drakavel.
port city: a coastal cliff city.
the resistance: a small group of vigilantes... or so they think.
the flight: a mysterious group of scientists and innovators.
