Partly because family members were too frightened to come to grips with how bad she was and chose to believe because she kept the house clean she was fine. She is NOT the same person of 10 years ago. That independent, smart as a whip, super organized person is gone. I am not POA, or things would have been done very differently. Sometimes you just have to #embracethesuck and do the very hard thing.
