Celebrating crossing the halfway point with the speckling. Eight large motifs and seven small ones left to go before I can start outlining. 🥳

Made a start. I'm happy with the speckling and it's satisfying to sew.

I'm sure I'll see improvement as I go along, and I'll get better at judging where to put the shading. Hopefully I'll get faster too, and maybe even find the magnifying clip ons I bought for my glasses that were literally here with my craft things yesterday.

Outlining will come later.

@lovelybookshelf Yay! I'm happy exploring new ways of expression with other artists and how we can bring art to more people and into unexpected spaces. I was just thinking of how other fiber art like , , and can also be used to share a message or beautify spaces. With all the different mediums of art, the possibilities are endless!

Street artists who like paint and paper mediums could install their art locally and while traveling; Street artists using fibers can be environmentally-conscious, by only crafting local installations for easy monitoring or entrusting the art's life cycle to a responsible local during their travels.
