@dekkzz76 I had some trouble with built-in YouTube feeds, so I've made a script that converts them to a more "suitable" format ( is probably a better option, I wasn't aware of it at the time):

github.com/SqrtMinusOne/yt-rss

And I don't look at enclosures at all, I just feed links to . yt-dlp will fail to play the video if something is wrong anyway.

Maybe (yet) unpublished videos don't have enclosures? Just a wild guess.

@lispi314 I did configure it and try it out, but I found the back-end lacking: it can only pull in the current playlist into a buffer, and it can't update the buffer automatcally (so goodbye consume mode, goodbye dynamic playlists, etc.) My solution is to run mpd as usual, and only use simple-mpc in Emacs, which is powerful enough for most tasks.

I'm amused not to see it here yet, but my favorite code editor and system shell should count. :3

One can use it for managing files (), listening to music and watching videos (), interacting with (), interacting with one's () or coding. All through a built-in scripting language called .

Less cheekily, git.sr.ht/~niklaseklund/detach is cool, it's like screen/tmux+ssh for Emacs, to run detached programs remotely.

@emacsomancer I set up to manage , but it required a lot of configuration and I'm not sure how well it works. In particular, I run mpd on a different computer, so I needed to configure EMMS not just to start mpd, but a player that would connect to the server.
