I found a 1932 #map of #NewYorkState on the cover of a brochure promoting #AlbanyNY that is filled with absolutely delightful illustrations (and, yes, some casual racism, which I'll leave for another post).
All #illustrations by Herbert Writer, about whom I know nothing.

📷 Arranca el domingo y toca una foto con historia. En este caso, la foto es de #ElvitaAdams, una mujer estadounidense que, el 2 de diciembre de 1979, y víctima de una depresión, decidió quitarse la vida saltando desde el piso 86 del #EmpireState.
Sin embargo, una fuerte corriente de aire la arrastró de vuelta al interior del edificio por una ventana del piso 85 por lo que, al final, todo quedó en una luxación de hombro.
