The good part of any #NonCompeteClause in #Germany is that those are null and void if the former #Employer doesn't pay them as if they were still employed for the duration of their clause, since it restricts their ability to earn the same amount of #income.
And I think that's a valid balance between preventing competitiors from "hiring away key personnel" and the ability for small businesses to defend themselves against "hostile corrosion" tactics...

#FYI if your #employer does this, if they have done it for a long time especially, you and your #coworkers could be #owed huge amounts of #unpaid #wages and it would be an easy suit if there is a paper trail like this and your employer is placing strict requirements on your behavior while not at #work. #Employment #lawyers generally work on contingency. Just food for thought.

Queenstown tourism company Ultimate Hikes don't appreciate their staff.
You can work for fourteen hours & get paid for eleven, workers have to provide most of their own PPE and are even expected to purchase additional clothing for any ill-prepared clients.

Most of the top #talent out there won't even apply for a position if it doesn't support #remotework. I get it that companies will gleefully sacrifice some great workers out of spite ("Respect mah authoriteh!") but you can't remain competitive if nobody in demand wants to work for you.
They can fight all they want, they're pushing rope uphill.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but if a prospective #employer ever asks you "Can you explain this gap in your #resume?" you can totally say "No ma'am I cannot. I have signed an #NDA." It's not like they can check.
