#Italy is the country with the steepest decline in real wages among the major OECD economies, and fourth-to-last overall. By the end of 2022, real wages had fallen by 7% compared to the pre-pandemic period. The results displayed in the OECD Employment Outlook 2023 cast a harsh light on the wage status of the country.
