Today we put the 15yo on a bus so he could travel to another city and stay with a friend for a few days. It's the first time he's been away on his own (not counting schools camps or local sleepovers).

Feels a bit strange.

Like this is the start of them leaving, for good. I know that's a long way off, but I feel like this is the beginning...
