I went shopping today and I was lucky to find some lettuce, but I can't complain, I still have some money to spend on food.
I wonder how it will take to the government to launch a campaign for the 2 a week instead of the 5 a day.

There are no food shortages in Italy. Just spent 5 days there and frui and veg are bountiful. No empty spaces on the shelves.

The simple truth is, after Brexit, if there are ever problems with EU harvests, then supplies to the UK will be cut to maintain supplies across the Single Market. We've literally moved ourselves to the very end of the fruit and veg queue.
