Brauche mal wieder Hilfe.

Auf meinem RPi 4 läuft Kodi als Mediencenter, dazu noch ne Menge Kleinkram wie PiHole, Syncthing, etc.

Jetzt würde ich aber auch gerne auf dem Ding spielen und will beispielsweise EmulationStation nutzen. Installiert hab ich das soweit, ich schaffe es aber nicht, von Kodi rüber zu wechseln / ES aus Kodi zu starten oder die Emulatoren gar direkt aus Kodi zu starten.

Hat da jemand Erfahrung?

muss mir bei Gelegenheit unbedingt mal #batocera #linux ausprobieren. Soll von der Einrichtung her ja echt einfach sein.

Ein Projekt das etliche alte und neuere (bis zu #PS3 und #WiiU) Konsolen emuliert. Es kombiniert #RetroArch und #EmulationStation und ist direkt vom USB-Stick bootbar, ähnlich wie bei #tailsOS

#Arcade custom build update:

- #Arcade1Up uses such thin wires for the control deck, I was almost unable to reuse the stock controls.
- Pac-Man Legacy uses a sideways monitor so I've been learning how to rotate each app.
- #EmulationStation looks fantastic, though.

Surprisingly, the controls feel a bit more responsive in #RetroArch on a #LibreComputer #LePotato than they were on the native #Android board from #Arcade1Up. But there's almost no noticable difference (both very good).

RetroAchievements.org is such a nice addition to retro gaming!

Very nice integration with #EmuDeck / #EmulationStation / #RetroArch. Entering the RetroAchievements account username/password during the #EmuDeck setup is all that's needed, so it's very userfriendly.

Building up #ReteoPie from headless #cli #Armbian wasn't too bad. I converted the #RetroPie install instructions into an #Ansible role.

Once #Ansible was done, I sat down at the keyboard and ran 'retropie_setup.sh' to add #samba, #EmulationStation, and various cores.

I think I'll still need to add McAirpos for #MakeCodeArcade games manually or with #Anible as a follow-up.

Overall #LePotato seems to have been a good choice for my use case.

Now that #Amiberry is running on #SteamDeck, I wonder how hard it would be to use the #Steam front-end for all those #Amiga games? Each entry could launch #Amiberry with the right parameters and auto-run the game, similar to what #EmulationStation does in #RetroPie. Certainly doable by hand, but ideally we'd want to script this (there are thousands of games). And then scraping any images for them would be a sweet bonus with sugar on top.

I’ve been into retro gaming lately and it’s nice to have on device that can play most of the older gaming systems. I’ve been traveling a lot this year and having this in the bag has been invaluable. Sure it’s no steamdeck but it fulfills a need and was only $99. So no complaints from me!

Raspberry Pi, jak i Steam Deck to przykłady urządzeń, na których jesteśmy dziś w stanie upchnąć i schować do plecaka całe biblioteki tytułów ze sprzętów naszej młodości. Dla osoby bardzo sentymentalnej (jaką jestem), prezerwacja dzieł powstałych w tamtych czasach to rzecz doprawdy wspaniała ❤️

Dajcie znać od jakiego systemu i/lub gry zaczęliście tę niekończącą się opowieść 💾
