🎮 Introducing #sodium64: A SNES emulator for the N64, entirely written in assembly! The project's aim is to make some SNES games run smoothly and accurately on the N64. All rendering is done on the RSP to reduce the load on the main CPU. It's still in the early stages of development, but the progress is promising! 🕹️🔧

Ziel des Projekts ist es, einige SNES-Spiele auf dem N64 flüssig und genau laufen zu lassen. Das Rendering erfolgt vollständig auf dem RSP, um die Haupt-CPU zu entlasten. Spent the weekend and last night cleaning up instruction code, implementing nearly all of the remaining instructions, and getting the cycle counts correct, especially for variable-length ops like conditional jumps. Also got some real basic screen buffer working, though it's not showing much yet. #gameboy #homebrew #emulator

so now, a day after Rockstar announced a port of RDR1, I am finally able to play my physical PS3 copy of RDR1 without a functioning PS3

#GAC will actually run in #ZXemul, the #ZXSpectrum #emulator for #Psion #EPOC16 (it has full #Z80 emulation). But you really need a 3mx for ZXemul to run at full #Speccy speed, and it will guzzle battery.
Still, here it is running in #MAME, for anyone who wants to see emulator-ception.
