Are gender critics being stupidly disingenuous or gormlessly thick when they argue that "trans activists" say that "gender identity" is an "unprovable feeling" and that such people claim that "anyone who says they are a woman is a woman"?

I have to tell these bobble-headed chuckle fucks that I've spent almost every waking hour of the last two months reading books exactly on the topic of gender and NO ONE EXCEPT THEM is making the argument that "gender" is "a feeling".

(Psssst! Gender is a socially constructed relationship. Its nothing innate or essential about a body. This is anything but "a feeling" and cannot be decided by one person by themselves since an unavoidable component of any gender is BEING TAKEN FOR IT BY OTHERS!)

Yes, men and women exist in their billions. But there are also people (millions in number themselves) who are neither men nor women. And some of these men and women are trying to erase these other people from existence.

If just 0.5% of 8 billion people are trans, non-binary or the various different varieties of intersex then thats 40 million such people in the world.

For a while now I have been contemplating the thought that trans and non-binary are not the same thing. After all, one relies on, and even reinforces, a gender binary; the other completely denies it.

Indeed, since the relative rise of non-binary gender thinking and ideas the initial principles of being what what then called "transsexual" have completely changed. For example, "transsexual" was initially, and often now still is, seen as a medical condition ("dysphoria") which required hormones and surgery to "treat" it. But what is the "treatment" for being non-binary? And is this also medically understood? Are trans and non-binary like gay or straight?

And where do we then place Kate Bornstein's pronouncement at the head of this toot? Individuality isn't a medical condition: its simply a fact of life!
