Three years ago my son-in-law won the permit lottery for the Enchantments and invited me to come along. We hiked in October a week after a heavy snow fell. Tho cold, the weather was absolutely clear. There are those that will ask why we place #monsters and #ghosts in our work. Those people are asking the wrong question, for we do not know.

There is no point in trying to answer the #mystery of what attracts one to those tragic and terrifying things that hide behind every corner or every ajar door. There is not magic in any answer that can be given.

I say, take my hand, breathe in deeply and lets embrace the #enchantments that the #darkness affords us.
