I’ve seen a whole lot of verbal or written but that only goes so far when someone might lose their house. I’ve seen some people but far too few. And I haven’t seen anyone do the good old fashioned sending a meal.

My Dad's love was fierce! He died when I was 10. Since then, I spent most of my life feeling like no one truly had my back. I had everyone else's, but whenever I needed something, friends, family and even my spouse just couldn't step up. Things have changed for me in the last 5 years. For the better! I hope at least 1 person supports you no matter what!

5/5 In the same way, it's not shameful to consider others in the words you use or jokes you tell. (Especially if you then expect them to be comfortable in a sport like jiu-jitsu!) Like with tapping out and restarting in jiu-jitsu, in life you can start over, change it up, try to handle it better immediately.
